Our primary sources of revenue are ticket sales and contributions from individuals, as well as singers’ dues. We operate with low overhead costs, a generally lean management style, and a “keep it simple” mantra, maintaining a strong focus on our essential activity of making music together and sharing that with our audiences. Donations to Resonance are deeply appreciated and extremely helpful. Our preference is to receive donations to our general operating fund, but we would be happy to talk with you if you are interested in making a donation targeted toward a particular project, such as a commission.
Because Resonance functions as a small business rather than a non-profit organization—we are not a 501(c)3—we work with a fiscal sponsor, the Boulder County Arts Alliance (BCAA), to enable individuals to make tax-deductible contributions. BCAA takes a 5% processing fee for this service. You will receive a tax letter from Resonance if you make a contribution through BCAA.
