BraveSouls and Dreamers
2009 music by Robert Seeley libretto by Robert Espindola Soloists -Derek Becker, tenor -Nakita Kawal, soprano -Brian Robertson, baritone -Leslie Remmert Soich, mezzo BraveSouls and Dreamers was inspired by the words of Gandhi, Jesus, Mother Teresa, Isaiah, Jimmy Carter, Confucius, Buddha, and the Qu'ran. It was commissioned by the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus in 2007. This CD is a live recording of the 2009 premiere of the women’s chorus version, which was created by Robert Seeley for Resonance.
