REHEARSAL RECORDINGS and SHEET MUSIC for tenors/baritones/basses singing All of Us
Rehearsal recordings: Here are links to downloadable rehearsal tracks. Let me know if you need clarification about anything or would like a physical CD or an alternate delivery method for the mp3s.

Sheet music: I'd like everyone to have the actual printed octavo score and I will get those to you. It has a nice color cover and it's the legal way to do things. But here's a pdf of the score in case that is also helpful.

I will email individually to confirm what part you are singing.
There are some high notes throughout. Don’t ever feel you need to strain; opt out as needed.
TENOR:
- The tenor part is high. Only strong, confident tenors will sing tenor. When there are divisis in the tenor line (eg pg 20-22), you will sing the bottom line.
- If you’re an “I sang tenor in the past but won’t swear to my high notes” kind of tenor, you will be very helpful on the baritone line.
- Some Resonance singers will be singing tenor—so if you are on the tenor line, please opt out of any parts that are too high (eg, perhaps, the high B flat in m. 20.). The women will carry those notes. Do not sing anything that is straining or not going to be pretty, please.
BARITONE/BASS:
- The baritone and bass parts are on the bottom line. The line is labeled bass but we’ll refer to the upper part as baritone. When there are two notes, baritones are singing the upper note. When there is one note, baritones and basses are together.
- Baritones with decent low range are very welcome on the bass part. Let me know if that is you.
There are two sections at the end that might be confusing:
- The ‘Dancing section” on p 20-22 has a 3-part divisi on each line. You'll see I’ve made short rehearsal tracks in case that’s helpful. These pages are hard to read. They will suck rehearsal time if people haven't prepared well.
- Tenors: The Resonance singers will sing the top and middle lines. Male tenors will sing the lower line, and that is what is on your rehearsal recording.
- Baritones will split between the top and middle notes of the three. You choose whether you want to sing the top or middle line. The first rehearsal recording has the middle line; the second has the top line. And there’s a bonus track for each line of this short section. Don’t let this get confusing. Whichever you sing is fine.
- Basses will sing the lower line.
- The last two pages split into Choir 1 and 2. Most will sing Choir 1, the whole notes. Choir 1 is on the first rehearsal recording, Choir 2 on the second. Tenors and baritones may opt to sing Choir 2 if you like. Basses should sing Choir 1. There’s a short rehearsal track for this, too. Again, don’t let this get confusing. Whichever is fine.
- There are three soprano soloists in this piece. Their line is on top when they are singing. They are the only ones singing at first. The chorus enters on page 6.
