Caitlin Strickland has been the Resonance pianist since 2007.
She received her Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder where she studied with Doris Pridonoff Lehnert and Alvin Chow. During her time there she won numerous regional competitions including MTNA and the Nancy Clark Piano Competition. In 2000, Caitlin was a featured performer at the International Piano Festival in Houston, TX. The following summer she was accepted as a student at L’Ecole de Musique in Paris. While in Europe she also had the opportunity to study and perform at the International Piano Sessions in Prague.
Caitlin has extensive experience as an accompanist and has performed with Opera Colorado, Boulder Opera, Boulder Bach Festival, Boulder Chorale, Boulder Suzuki Strings and the Arvada Center Chorale. She has performed both solo and collaborative recitals throughout the United States, Europe and Japan.
Caitlin lives in the mountains outside of Nederland with her husband and 17 year-old son. In addition to playing piano she enjoys running, hiking, climbing, cooking, and reading.
